To mark the opening of the new store in Kinson, Tesco ran a competition for local good causes and The Bourne Academy was one of five runners-up winning £500.
The Bourne Academy received a £500 cheque towards their new Eco-Gardening Club.
At the Dorset School Games, Academy students finished the competition as Bronze medallists , qualifying for the regional finals.
The Bourne Academy is a GOOD school and that is official.... As you are aware, Ofsted inspectors visited the Academy on 2nd and 3rd October 2014.
The Bourne Academy, an all ability state-funded secondary Academy established by its sponsor, Canford School in 2010, is delighted to announce another year of excellent GCSE exam results.
In June, The Bourne Academy took part in the 2014 Galliford Try Transformation Trust Sailing Cup and beat eight other schools across the south.
The Bourne Academy GreenPower Team has recently doubled their efforts to keep on schedule for the RNAS Merryfield qualifying race in July.
Mr Mark Avoth is to be the new Principal at The Bourne Academy from January 2015.

The company filled a 30 metre by 10 metre crater in the Academy grounds with nearly half a million litres of water, free of charge;the lake forms part of an outdoor education site.
The state-of-the-art buildings followed 14 months of building work, sanctioned by the Department of Education.
