Job: First Aid Officer

Start Dates: ASAP

Hours:  35 hours per week, term time only

Salary:  Grade 3, spine point 3-10, £20,491 - £21,835 (FTE salary is £25,183 - £26,835)

Overview
To be the principal First Aider on site during those hours, responsible for student’s health care (and occasionally staff). To support students with mental/physical healthcare needs, for example, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy. Signposting vulnerable students to enhanced care, GPs, children’s services, mental health agencies – working with pastoral team and parents You will have access to confidential information, requiring absolute discretion at all times.

This role is a term time only role. It is essential that you have experience of First Aid and that you have a current First Aid certificate. It is also essential that you like working with children and you must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
